They will transport you to the uchronisms of a World War One landscape transversed by giant robots, the painful, delicate love story of a centaur and its lady, and the heroics of barbarians and female warriors, amongst many others . . . these are images to get lost in.’ Guillermo Del Toro ‘For anyone who wondered where New Zealand was on the map of fantasy art, the answer lies between these covers. With this dazzling, sumptuous collection of paintings, these incredibly gifted artists have placed it squarely as its premier kingdom. A sheer delight!’ Wayne Barlowe ‘I am so taken with the beauty of White Cloud Worlds, from the fitting and eloquent title to the elegant arrangement of the pages, not to mention the artwork within — to the very wonderful idea that a group of unique talents raised in that beautiful sunlight of Aotearoa should at last have an anthology dedicated to them.’ Christian Gossett Paul Tobin has worked as a concept designer at Weta Workshop since 2003 and is the director of Ignite Inc., a small company dedicated to the celebration of individual creativity through collective projects.
